Especially  Amphu Lapcha pass trekking is one of the best outstanding and spectacular alpine high pass trek leads adventurous trekking trail crossing Mera La and Amphu Lapcha pass, which is one of the most challenging pass situated in Southeast of Everest Region. This adventure high passes trek is one of the challenging trekking pass in the Nepal, which offers fascinating experience. This trekking trail is situated in quite high elevation and it demands physical fitness.

The Amphu Lapcha is to be passed technically to Chukkung Valley in khumbu. The crossing of the pass requires the use of technical climbing equipments and trekkers must be skilled in the use of this and be prepared. It holds the views of Himalayas and hearty scenery of lakes Hongu lakes and Panch Pokhari lakes. The Amphu Lapcha pass is ascended with the protection of fixed ropes over straight forward wonderful icefall and the descent requires a short abseil to a broad snow terrace. The pass is tricky owing to steepness although it is at a lower altitude than Mera (6,654m) and Island Peak (6,160m). The trek connects with the Khumbu region at Chhukung. The trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar is tremendous and visit of the pristine Sherpa villages and monasteries makes the trip memorable over a lifetime. The trek starts from Lukla, the transit point where most of the trekkers and mountaineers begin their trips ( Mera Peak climbing, Everest Gokyo trek, Everest Kalapathar trek and all the high mountain expedition) in the Everest region. The return trek from high passes continues to delight adventurous souls with more spectacular mountain views, lush forested valleys, and opportunities to learn about the Nepalese religion, culture and finally Lukla by flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 01:    Arrive Katmandu, transfer from airport to hotel (1300m)
Day 02:    At leisure in Kathmandu, preparation for trek.
Day 03:    Fly to Lukla, trek to Chutanga (3100m)
Day 04:    Acclimatisation day at Chutanga (3100m)
Day 05:    Cross Zatr La to Tuli Kharka (4400m)
Day 06:    Tuli Kharka to Tashing Ongma (3600m)
Day 07:    Tashing Ongma to Tangnag (4350m)
Day 08:    Acclimatisation Day at Tangnag (4350m)
Day 09:    Tangnag to Khare (5100m)
Day 10:    Acclimatisation Day at Khare (5100m)
Day 11:    Khare to Mera La (5415m)
Day 12:    Mera La to High Camp (5800m)
Day 13:    Ascent of Mera Peak (6476m), return to Base Camp at Mera La (5415m)
Day 14:     Mera –La  to Kongma ding 4415m
Day 15:    Kongmading    to Setopokhari 4785m
