More

Chulu East is part of the Annapurna Himalayan range, within the larger Damodar Himal. The region is bounded by the Marsyangdi Khola to the south and Kali Gandaki to the west. There is confusion about the exact locations of Chulu West and East, as several nearby summits are not marked on maps. The highest peak, often labeled Chulu West (6419m), is closer to 6400m and could be called Chulu Central. Climbers often mistakenly summit these nearby peaks, thinking they're Chulu East or West. With permits for either peak, trekkers can also explore the stunning Annapurna Circuit, combining trekking and climbing.
