Gosainkunda Lake Trekking is done inside the Langtang National Park. Langtang National Park has a total Area of 1,710 sq. Kilometers and this national park lies in the North of Kathmandu. This national park Was designed in 1970/ 1971 but established only in 1976 by the government of Nepal. This trekking Route requires a national park permit and it is illegal to enter inside the national park without national Park entry permit.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 02:Kathmandu valley sightseeing & preparation of your Trek
Kathmandu is known for its historical and cultural values. One can’t say that how many temples exist in Kathmandu valley and how important are they. After having you breakfast, your day will start with our guided tour of Kathmandu valley which includes world heritage listed sites includes Swoyambhunath or The Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath; the famous Hindu Temple, Patan Durbar Square and finally The Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche 1760m
(5-6hrs drive)The road is quite difficult afterTrisuli, a town on the way to Dhunche.The trail is really seems to be dangerous and its seasonable road which is not drivable during the monsoon. On the way you can see surprising landslides over the big green hills. On the rainy season, even you can experience thundering sound of waterfalls everywhere. But the journey offers you very nice rhododendron forest and Himalayan sceneries far way. After reaching Dhunche, we will stay overnight and prepare to start ourtrek next day.
Day 04:Trek to Sing Gompa (Monastery) 3,230m 5-6hrs
Dhunche to Sing Gompa trek is for about 5 hours and not so hard to follow. The first part of the trails follows slowly all the way through a mineral water industrial unit up to Ghatte Khola (stream). After crossing a suspension bridge over the Ghatte Khola, the trek goes quite uphill until you reach Sing Gompa through dense pine, silver oak and rhododendron forests with marijuana plants. After completing this trail we will reach Sing Gompa where you will explore an old Yak Cheese Factory.
Day 05:Trek to Lauribinayak 3,750m 3-4hrs
The trail is quite short comparing to other days but still offers you very good sceneries along the rhododendron and pine forest along the trail. In the morning first we will visit the Cheese Factory in Chandanbari and after that we will start our trek to Lauribinayak. The day is short and we may trek leisurely. We can’t go higher than this because of the high altitude.
Day 06:Trek to Gosainkunda Lake 4,300m 4-5hrs
Trek to Gosainkunda Lake from Lauribinayak is the final uphill trail of your whole trek to Langtang and Gosainkunda Lake. The trail passes through the middle of Himalayan panorama on both side along through Gholangpati and Lauribinayak. The uphill trail of Lauribinak is really tough and hard to uncover. But when you pass the Lauribinayak uphill trail, then the trail is in almost flat type. You may reach Gosainkunda Lake for your lunch and after your lunch you can explore around Gosainkunda Lake and other small lakes near Gosainkunda. Gosainkunda offers you very close views of Himalayan panorama and much closed shot of white and lightening snow capped mountains around it.
Day 07: Trek Back to Sing Gompa 3350m. 5-6hrs
In the morning you can take close shots of white Himalayan mountains. Then after having breakfast we Can start our trek back to Sing Gompa. The trail is easy and downhill through rhododendron and pine Forest. On the rainy season even you can encounter with lots of leeches on your body.
Day 08: Trek down to Dhunche 4-5hrs
We will have our breakfast in the lodge then start our trek to Dhunche, the capital city of Rasuwa district. The trail is downhill and flat all the way and offers your panoramic peaks from Tibet far from your eyes. Get reach to Dhunche and get fresh in the Hotel and prepare for your next day drive to Kathamdnu.
Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu 6-7 hrs drive back to kathmandu by local bus
Day 10: Rest day in Kathmandu or shopping day!
What is tea house trekking?
Tea house trekking is popular in Himalayan region. Local community run the tea house and lodge. They serve good foods (breakfast, lunch and dinner) these tea houses have good facility with hot water, comfortable rooms with attached bathroom, you can know the local culture, people and tradition and way of living in the trekking route.
What is camping trekking?
Camping trekking is organized and supported with team of professional guide, Sherpa, cook and porters. They accompany you, while trekking porters carry all the logistics like, tents, kitchen accessories, food, and fuel. Trekker should carry his/her minimal personal belongings while trekking.
What is the best time for trekking in Nepal?

Water here is drinkable but taking into consideration of our client's health and hygiene we provide mineral water which is purified and filtered. We provide standard and healthy foods. We provide best and comfortable lodging service available in trekking route.
Can I trek without porter and guide?
Yes you can trek without guide, but we suggest you not to trek without guide, due to security reason. Communication with local people, and trek route topography and weather as well as natural disaster are the challenges; if you go with guide it would be more comfortable for you.
How can I avoid blisters?
Shoe and socks should be comfortable, select right size, thick sole and matter of inner sole. If you have sweating feet then you have to change your socks frequently keep your feet clean and dry. You should carry blister prevention tape; skin tape can be helpful.
Do I need trekking pole?
Yes you do need trekking pole, it helps you save energy in high ascend and descend, if you have weak hips and knees and it helps to reduce the strain.
How will you help me if I suffer from altitude sickness or accident ?
Depending on the seriousness of the accident we provide first aid if not then company can arrange the evacuation operation to the nearest medical facility and in case of any emergency company could bring you to Kathmandu.

We do insurance for guide and porters, we provide first aid kit for our staff's medicine, and provide emergency rescue. We are always conscious about the health and safety of guide and porters.
Is there tipping compulsory for guides and porters?
Tipping is not necessary for HEN staffs, although tipping for guide and staff is good practice, porter and guide expect tip, your tip helps their family.
How to avoid motion sickness ?
While trekking or driving you may feel motion sickness, vomiting there may be many reason, due to curves and the altitude complete different terrain and topography. Drink enough water while trekking, take lemon pieces, chew ginger or you can use motion-sickness tablets, such as Dramamine. You should not be worry about motion sickness, it is self treatable and get rid of it .
