Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the local surroundings at your leisure.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu, visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites including the famous Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. These sites offer a glimpse into Nepal’s rich history, culture, and religious practices.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola via Arughat Bazaar
In the morning, drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, which takes about 7-8 hours, passing through the picturesque towns of Arughat Bazaar and Beshisahar. The drive offers stunning views of the countryside, with terraced fields, rivers, and mountain landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Soti Khola, check into your lodge.
Day 04: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola
Begin your trek with a 5-6 hour hike from Soti Khola to Machha Khola. The trail follows the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through forests and small villages. The route offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. You’ll end the day in Machha Khola, a peaceful village where you can rest for the night.
Day 05: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat
Today, trek from Machha Khola to Jagat, which takes approximately 6-7 hours. The trail is a bit more challenging, with steep climbs and descents. You'll pass through villages like Khorlabesi and Tatopani, where you can enjoy the natural hot springs. Jagat is a picturesque village with a unique cultural atmosphere.
Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Deng
After breakfast, trek from Jagat to Deng, which takes around 6-7 hours. The trail ascends further into the Manaslu region, passing through forests of rhododendron and pine. You'll also cross several suspension bridges over the Budhi Gandaki River. Deng is a small village, where you will spend the night.
Day 07: Trek from Deng to Namrung
The trek today takes you from Deng to Namrung, which will take about 6-7 hours. As you ascend, you’ll notice the landscape changing, with more rugged terrain and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Namrung is a charming village that offers an excellent opportunity to experience the local culture.
Day 08: Trek from Namrung to Sama Gaon
Continue your trek from Namrung to Sama Gaon, which will take 6-7 hours. The trail offers magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu and other peaks in the region. Sama Gaon is a prosperous village with beautiful landscapes and a deep cultural heritage, making it an ideal place to rest and explore.
Day 09: Rest Day at Sama Gaon (Acclimatization)
Take a day to rest and acclimatize to the higher altitude in Sama Gaon. You can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or take a short hike to the nearby Manaslu Base Camp for stunning views of the mountain. This rest day is crucial for proper acclimatization before continuing your trek.
Day 10: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo
Today, you’ll trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo, which will take around 4-5 hours. The trail takes you higher into the valley with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Samdo is a small Tibetan-style village, known for its vibrant culture and stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
Day 11: Trek from Samdo to Larkya La Phedi
The trek from Samdo to Larkya La Phedi (the base of Larkya La Pass) takes about 4-5 hours. The path ascends gradually, passing through alpine meadows and rugged terrain. Larkya La Phedi is the last stop before the challenging Larkya La Pass, where trekkers prepare for the high-altitude crossing ahead.
Day 12: Trek from Larkya La Phedi to Larkya La Pass to Bimthang
Today is one of the most challenging but rewarding days of the trek. You’ll begin early in the morning and cross the Larkya La Pass (5,160 meters), one of the highest points of the trek. From the pass, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Mt. Manaslu and the Annapurna range. Afterward, descend to Bimthang, where you can rest after the long, strenuous day.
Day 13: Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani
After a restful night at Bimthang, begin your descent to Dharapani, which will take about 6-7 hours. The trail becomes easier as you descend through forests, villages, and farmland, offering a different perspective of the region. Dharapani is a popular stop for trekkers and offers comfortable lodges to stay.
Day 14: Trek from Dharapani to Jagat
Today, trek from Dharapani to Jagat, a journey that will take 6-7 hours. The route follows the Marshyangdi River, passing through several villages and terraced fields. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayas as you approach Jagat, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 15: Drive from Jagat to Kathmandu
From Jagat, drive back to Kathmandu, which takes around 7-8 hours. The drive offers a comfortable journey back to the capital city, where you can relax and enjoy a final evening in Nepal.
Day 16: Departure from Kathmandu
On your final day, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. Take with you unforgettable memories of your adventure in the beautiful Manaslu region.
