Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal's vibrant capital, where you’ll be welcomed by a representative. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, followed by a brief orientation about the trek. Rest and prepare for your adventure.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Besishar - Dharapani by Jeep (1860m) – 6-7 hrs
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besishar. From Besishar, continue by jeep through winding roads to Dharapani, where you’ll be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and local villages. Overnight stay in Dharapani.
Day 3: Dharapani to Koto (2600m) – 5-6 hrs
Trek to Koto, a village located at the edge of the Nar Phu Valley. The trail takes you through dense forests and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Enjoy a peaceful night in Koto.
Day 4: Koto to Dharmasala (3300m) – 5-6 hrs
Continue your trek along the trail to Dharmasala, a remote area situated at the foot of the higher mountains. As you ascend, the scenery becomes more dramatic, with alpine landscapes and expansive views of the surrounding valleys.
Day 5: Dharmasala to Phu Gaon (3740m) – 5-6 hrs
Head towards Phu Gaon, a traditional and isolated village known for its unique culture and stunning views. The route offers an insight into the high-altitude lifestyle, and you’ll enjoy the hospitality of the locals.
Day 6: Phu Gaon to Nagoru (4400m) – 5-6 hrs
Trek through remote landscapes to reach Nagoru, a higher-altitude village offering incredible mountain views. The journey takes you through rugged terrain and alpine meadows, and you’ll begin to feel the effects of the altitude.
Day 7: Nagoru to Saribung Base Camp (4950m) – 7-8 hrs (Rest day for Acclimatization)
This day is spent trekking towards the Saribung Base Camp. The ascent is long but rewarding, taking you into more rugged terrain. At Base Camp, you’ll take a well-deserved rest for acclimatization to prepare for the summit climb.
Day 8: Saribung Base Camp to Saribung High Camp (5730m) – 5-6 hrs
Trek to Saribung High Camp, where you'll set up camp at an elevation of 5730 meters. The terrain becomes more challenging, with alpine glaciers and rocky paths, making this a strenuous day.
Day 9: High Camp to Summit of Saribung Peak (6346m) and Return to Base Camp – 8-10 hrs
Today is the big day! You’ll begin your ascent early in the morning, reaching the summit of Saribung Peak (6346m). The climb offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. After summiting, descend back to the Base Camp for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Saribung Base Camp to Namta Khola (4890m) – 6-7 hrs
Descend from Base Camp, making your way to Namta Khola, a scenic valley surrounded by impressive peaks. The trek today offers a mix of downhill and moderate uphill sections, providing a change of scenery and more wildlife sightings.
Day 11: Namta Khola to High Pass (approximately 5600m) to Gumba Tanti (4600m) – 7-8 hrs
A challenging day, as you ascend to a high pass at around 5600 meters. After crossing the pass, descend to Gumba Tanti, a peaceful spot surrounded by rugged landscapes, perfect for a restful night.
Day 12: Gumba Tanti to High Pass (approximately 5100m) to Yara (3800m) – 5-6 hrs
Today’s trek involves crossing another high pass at approximately 5100 meters. You’ll then descend to the village of Yara, located in a valley with beautiful landscapes and ancient monasteries.
Day 13: Yara to Lo Manthang (3840m) – 6-7 hrs
Trek towards Lo Manthang, the cultural heart of the Mustang region. The route offers amazing views of the Himalayan range and the unique desert-like landscape of the Upper Mustang. Lo Manthang is known for its rich culture, ancient monasteries, and Tibetan influence.
Day 14: Rest Day - Visiting Lo Manthang Village Tour
Spend the day exploring Lo Manthang. You can visit its famous monasteries, local markets, and interact with the local people to learn about their Tibetan Buddhist traditions and lifestyle.
Day 15: Lo Manthang to Charang (3560m) – 4-5 hrs
Begin your descent today to Charang, a peaceful village with scenic views of the Kali Gandaki Valley. The trek is relatively short, giving you time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Day 16: Charang to Syangboche (3800m) – 5-6 hrs
Trek from Charang to Syangboche, passing through beautiful landscapes of terraced fields, forests, and traditional villages. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Day 17: Syangboche to Chele (3050m) – 4-5 hrs
Continue your trek to Chele, a village nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. The route offers a mix of forests, terraced fields, and panoramic views, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region.
Day 18: Chele to Kagbeni and Jomsom (2700m) – 7-8 hrs
Today’s trek takes you from Chele to Kagbeni, then further to Jomsom. The trail follows the Kali Gandaki River, with views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Jomsom is a popular stop for trekkers before heading to Pokhara.
Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara by Flight
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, a scenic flight offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Pokhara with its tranquil lakes and stunning mountain views.
Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu by Bus or Flight
Travel back to Kathmandu, either by scenic bus ride or flight. Upon arrival, take the rest of the day to relax, shop for souvenirs, or explore Kathmandu further.
Day 21: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Shopping
Spend the day sightseeing in Kathmandu. Visit iconic spots like the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. You’ll also have time for shopping in Thamel, where you can find trekking gear and traditional handicrafts.
Day 22: Departure to Your Home
After a memorable adventure, transfer to the airport for your flight back home, marking the end of your unforgettable Sarebung Peak trek.

You can hire or buy personal equipment needed for peak climbing, apart from that the major climbing equipment will be provided by HEN.
What problems occur in high altitude?
Lack of oxygen in a body might occur in high altitude which may result in nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, hypothermia even death.
Can I charge my device while peak climbing?
Yes you can charge your device like mobile, camera and chargeable device.
Who will be my guide and what is their qualification and experience?
HEN provides veteran, qualified peak climbing and mountaineering guides.
What kind food and accommodation you provide?
We provide healthy food and comfortable accommodation as available in the region you trek such as tea house or lodge or camps.
Does your company give certificate after successful peak climbing?
Our company provides certificate which is provided by NMA. You have to fill up the form with your detail, summit photo, name of the team leader.
How you rescue if I become sick?
Depending on the seriousness of the accident we provide first aid if not then company can arrange the evacuation operation to the nearest medical facility and in case of any emergency, company could bring you to Kathmandu.
Do I get refund if I become sick before peak climbing?
All the trip cancellations are required to be done officially on our e-mail info@himalayanecstasynepal.com or himalayanecstasy@gmail.com For groups it should be done 45 days and prior while individuals can do at least 30days before. Payment refund will be made as per the foreign currency conversion rate in US$ dollar prevailing at the time of refund. The following cancellation charges will levy.
1. Before 45 days of arrival-5% of the total trekking/expedition/ tour cost
2. From 45 day to 30 days-10% of the Trekking/expedition/ tour cost
3. From 29 days to 15 days-15% of the trekking/expedition/ tour cost
4. From 14 days to 02 days (48 hrs)-20% of the total Trekking/expedition/ tour cost.
5. From 48 hrs to arrival-50% of the total trekking/expedition/ tour cost
6. Less than 48 hrs or no show-No refund
7. If trekking/Expedition/tour is stopped or early arrival due to nature accident likewise weather reasons this case H.E Nepal Treks will not refund.
What permit do I need for peak climbing?
Nepal Mountaineering Association: the authorized government body issue permits which is needed for peak climbing and our company will assist you on getting the permit.
How you manage food accommodation and safe drinking water?
Water here is drinkable but taking into consideration of our client's health and hygiene we provide mineral water which is purified and filtered. We provide standard and healthy foods. We provide best and comfortable lodging service available in trekking route.
