Since joining the company in January 2005, he has been guiding guests across various trekking routes and cultural destinations, ensuring safe, informative, and memorable experiences.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and has complemented his academic background with multiple professional certifications, including trekking guide training, city tour guide certification, first aid training, helicopter marshal training, and basic climbing courses.
Early Career
Sau Bir Rai began his journey in the trekking industry as a porter, inspired by people in his local community who were already involved in the field. Through dedication and hands-on learning, he gradually progressed to an Assistant Guide and later established himself as a professional Trekking and Tour Guide.
His early years in portering and camping helped him build strong field knowledge, practical skills, and a deep understanding of trekking logistics in Nepal.
